26 Names. One Stage. USMNT’s World Cup Roster Goes Live on May 26

NYC Gets the Call

NEW YORK (April 30, 2026) — For the first time in U.S. Soccer history, the Men’s National Team World Cup roster reveal will become a live fan event. On Tuesday, May 26, at 3:00 p.m. ET, Coach Mauricio Pochettino will introduce his 26-player squad for the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup in a nationally televised broadcast on FOX, running from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. ET.

The reveal will be anchored at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City’s South Street Seaport, set against views of the East River, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Lower Manhattan skyline. The fan celebration is free to attend and will serve as both a rally point and a statement of intent as the USMNT enters its final World Cup preparations.

What’s Happening at Pier 17

The surrounding Seaport neighborhood will transform into a festival celebrating American soccer culture. The event, running from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. ET before the FOX broadcast begins, will feature live music, immersive soccer activations, food and beverage offerings, and partner integrations.

The FOX broadcast itself will be hosted by a star-studded lineup of U.S. Soccer legends and media personalities, including Alexi Lalas, Stu Holden, Carli Lloyd, Rob Stone, Jenny Taft, and Landon Donovan, with additional celebrity appearances expected.

There will also be a Q&A session with Rand Getlin, co-founder of Park Stories and co-director of the HBO Original Sports Documentary Series U.S. Against the World: Four Years with the Men’s National Soccer Team, which debuts May 12 on HBO and is available to stream on HBO Max.

The Road to June 12

The roster reveal event is part of U.S. Soccer’s broader “Never Chase Reality” campaign, a rallying philosophy for players and fans as the country hosts its first FIFA World Cup in 32 years. The USMNT opens group stage play against Paraguay on Friday, June 12.

Before the tournament begins, fans can also see the team in action during two warm-up friendlies: against Senegal on May 31 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., and against Germany on June 6 in Chicago.

The shop will offer jersey personalization, a Pro Standard patch activation, and limited-edition NYC-inspired merchandise from Nike, Levi’s, Pro Standard, and New Era. Extended hours will be in effect on Group Stage matchdays: June 12, June 19, and June 25.
